FNL Ranks Number Eleven on ITunes

Entertainment Weekly reported that FNL ranked Number Eleven on ITunes Top 30 List Last Week.  Good job, FNL!

Laboring

This episode was probably the most depressing so far this season.  Even so, I felt that it was a wonderful preamble to the season finale.  I am still completely frustrated with Tami's situation-it is just so unfair!  The intense rivalry between West and East Dillon sort of makes me yearn for the days when the Panthers was all there was.  I still feel bad about the Landry-Vince-Jess situation, plus I'm worried about Vince's future.  There wasn't quite enough about Julie in this episode, considering she's weighing some life-changing options about her future.   The Tim and Billy story was going great and sweet until their past came back to haunt them.  No matter what, I feel that every episode this season has gotten better and better, which will just make it that much more painful to part with it.

The Injury List

Once again, we're dealing with a very intense episode.  I felt so bad for Tami and so mad at everyone who was saying she encouraged Becky to have an abortion.  Any instance of injustice, even on fictional television, really angers me.  The whole Tim-Becky-Becky's mom (whose name escapes me) dilemma was nerve-wracking, as well.  And Vince continues to disappoint, but you know he feels that he must do what he's doing.  I worry about what's going to happen with Landry's continually depressing love life.  Luke is just being stupid about his injury, and thank God that someone finally find out.  Oh, and the Julie and Matt situation is just heartbreaking.  I can't wait for next week, but I will be so sad when this season is over.

I Can't

This episode was really intense, and somewhat sad.  I thought Vince's storyline was going well until the end.  I just felt so disappointed in his means of getting money.  I was disappointed in Becky, too, because I thought she was going to choose to have the baby.  I also felt that she wasn't totally happy with her choice, at all.  Luke seemed really upset too, which is sad.  Connie Britton gave a great performance struggling with Becky's dilemma.

CONGRATULATIONS KYLE AND CONNIE!

I am happy to inform you that Friday Night Lights' Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton have been nominated for Best Lead Actor and Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series Emmy Awards!  Unfortunately, the rest of the cast and the series itself were snubbed once again.  The 62nd Annual Primetime Emmys will air live on NBC on August 29th, hosted by Jimmy Fallon.  I will announce the time at a later date.

The Lights in Carroll Park

This episode was definitely very dramatic- Becky's pregnancy, the shooting in Carroll Park, Coach finding out about Glenn and Tami's kiss (although that was actually hilarious) and Julie meeting Ryan (which was a little weird with the kissing thing.  But then, that's just my opinion).  Everybody gave A+ performances, though.  I'm a bit worried that next week's epiosde may be just a little too dramatic, going by the teasers.  Just have to wait and see!
